Process phots of the poster I designed and printed for Ministry of Sound.
They should have better photos up on their blog soon, and they will be selling them online, although I don’t know how much for.
Here’s a view of the process for the Half Japanese gig poster.
Brown, then gold, then varnish and finally the black.
If you happen to be at the show tonight you can snap them for £10. After that you’ll be able to get them from me or from the good folks at Poster Roast.
Just finished printing the poster for tomorrow’s show.
Black, brown and gold, plus a varnish in the glasses that’s a little too feint… on 240 gsm.
Limited edition of 85, on sale at the show for £10.
D.
Better photo of the poster I screen printed for the Tweed Run, from the talented designer Zoë Barker.
Screeeeeeeeeen prints. This one is a special one for the sponsors, but we still have a few left without all this jazz on which will be available super soon online. They are A3, signed and numbered, 5 colour editions of 75. Snap them up while you can. M-mmm.
Yesterday we finished painting the studio and after 3 days of hard work I think we did a great job! Thanks to Felicia for helping us.
We will have a sort of opening where we’ll be selling prints to fund our little adventure. I’ll let everyone know when we set a date.
And more bike related stuff!
Here’s the poster I screen printed for the 3rd annual Tweed Run.
5 colours on china white colourplan, limited to 75 copies, and some very tight registration.
I believe there are a few left which will be up for sale on the Tweed Run site soon.
It was designed by the very talented Zoe Barker, and again, some better photos will be taken soon.
Back in January I worked with the excellent Brooks England to design their famed Brooks Bugle for its 2011 version. These are not-very-good shots but you can read the PDF version here: http://blog.brooksengland.com/wps/bugle/
or just get it with your new leather saddle!
Really quite happy to finally see it in its physical form, and quite proud!
So I thought I would design and print a poster to raise funds for Japan, after the disaster that hit it.
I talked to a japanese friend of mine and she thought it was a good idea, but since then (last week) I have come accross a very similar poster with the same goal. Not only that, but the designer and all the others that created work to raise money for this have since then been accused of a million nasty things all over quite a few design blogs.
I am quite unsure about wether I should go ahead with this. It’s not meant to be a genius piece, but a quick reply to an event that shook a lot of us…
The last thing I want is to offend people and maybe it’s a superfluous effort.
Dunno, you tell me.
